On my Windows7 corporate laptop AA does not work. And the diagrams look rather horrible. Especially when zooming out the diagram becomes almost unreadable.

As per popular advice I’ve added the following 2 lines to modelio.ini:

-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=on -Dswing.aatext=true

Unfortunately this does not help. ClearType on Windows7 is enabled.

On Linux AA works just fine and the diagrams are crispy sharp (same Modelio version).

Windows7 –> Windows7 Professional 64 bit.

Some further observations:

  • when saved as image, the diagram has problematic AA.

  • when printed (as PDF, using PDF24), the diagram is crispy sharp. Zoom in poses no problem.
