The notes and constraints view

Key:

  • 1. The “Notes and constraints” tab.
  • 2. The “Notes and constraints” toolbar.
  • 3. A rich note.
  • 4. A note.
  • 5. A constraint.
  • 6. Note and constraint editing zone.

Main notes and constraints view commands

From the Notes and Constraints contextual menu:

  • Add Note [4 – Add Note…] : Opens the “Add note” window, in which you can select the note(s) you want to add to the selected element and then display their content in the note entry/modification zone.
  • Add Rich Note [20 – Add Rich Note…] : Opens the “Create a Rich Note” window, in which you can set the name, role, MIME format and Abstract of Rich Note you want to add to the selected element and then open the corresponding editor.
  • Add Constraint(s) [5 – Add Constraint…] : Opens the “Add constraint” window, in which you can select the constraint(s) you want to add to the selected element and then display their content in the entry/modification zone.
  • Clean Note/Constraint [7 – Clean note/constraint] : Deletes the contents of the selected note or constraint, but not the actual note or constraint itself.
  • Remove [8 – Delete / Del key] : Remove the Note/Constraint from the selected element.
  • Cut [16 – Cut / Ctrl+X key] : Cut the Note/Constraint from the selected element.
  • Copy [17 – Copy / Ctrl+C key] : Copy the Note/Constraint from the selected element.
  • Paste [18 – Paste / Ctrl+V key] : Paste the Note/Constraint to the selected element.

From the Notes and Constraints toolbar:

  • Add Description [21] : Add directly a Description note to the selected element and then display its content in the note entry/modification zone.
  • Add Note [4] : Opens the “Add note” window, in which you can select the note(s) you want to add to the selected element and then display their content in the note entry/modification zone.
  • Add Rich Note [20 – Add Rich Note…] : Opens the “Create a Rich Note” window, in which you can set the name, role, MIME format and Abstract of Rich Note you want to add to the selected element and then open the corresponding editor.
  • Add Constraint(s) [5] : Opens the “Add constraint” window, in which you can select the constraint(s) you want to add to the selected element and then display their content in the entry/modification zone.
