New features:

  • New ergonomics for the BPMN feature which now fully support the BPMN 2.0 standard.
  • Improved ‘Diagram Themes/Element Styles’ feature to make diagrams customization more user friendly.
  • The ‘Symbol’ view has been integrated to the diagrams editor for easier access.


  • ArchiMate now supports the 3.0.1 standard.
  • The Modelio toolbar has been re-organised.
  • Diagrams which were open when closing a project will be automatically reopen.
  • The order of attributes and operations is now synchronized between diagrams and model view.
  • It is now possible to add a diagram background image using a relative path.
  • Edition boxes now display the metaclass of the element in addition to its name.
  • The Migration box now has a ‘Yes to All’ button.
  • It is now possible to define a default MIME type for Description Notes in Modelio’s Preferences.
  • It is now possible to provide an initial content to the Rich Notes.
  • Rich note feature now supports 64-bit architecture for Libre Office.

Fixes / Improvements:

  • Fixed issues with the XMI import/export.
  • Fixed issue with the getBound() Jython method.
  • Fixed issue with N-ary association’s Properties view.
  • Fixed issue with the migration procedure.
  • Fixed issue with the ‘Fit to content’ feature.
